Norway stocks higher at close of trade; Oslo OBX up 0.06%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services , Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.06%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ), which rose 3.72% or 2.05 points to trade at 57.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) added 2.73% or 3.90 points to end at 146.90 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL: GOGL ) was up 2.18% or 2.30 points to 107.85 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ), which fell 5.82% or 6.70 points to trade at 108.40 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL: NHY ) declined 2.43% or 1.64 points to end at 65.88 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) was down 1.87% or 0.22 points to 11.56.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 144 to 128 and 29 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.89% or 0.63 to $71.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.16% or 0.12 to hit $75.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.52% or 44.21 to trade at $2,944.91 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.19% to 11.66, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 11.14.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 106.79.
