Sweden stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 up 0.41%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms , Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ), which rose 3.45% or 10.40 points to trade at 310.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST: ERICb ) added 2.92% or 2.48 points to end at 87.54 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST: VOLVb ) was up 1.82% or 6.00 points to 335.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ), which fell 1.72% or 2.20 points to trade at 122.80 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST: ABB ) declined 1.49% or 8.80 points to end at 582.60 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: GETIb ) was down 1.44% or 3.20 points to 218.70.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 396 to 375 and 66 ended unchanged.

Shares in SAAB AB ser. B (ST: SAABb ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.45% or 10.40 to 310.10.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.62% or 1.85 to $68.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.58% or 1.92 to hit $72.39 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.89% or 56.01 to trade at $2,907.19 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 11.13, while USD/SEK fell 0.39% to 10.62.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 106.43.
