Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.56%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities , Agriculture & Food and Cement sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.56% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL: 8240 ), which rose 10.00% or 4.35 points to trade at 47.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL: 1213 ) added 9.64% or 9.20 points to end at 104.60 and East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL: 1321 ) was up 4.11% or 6.40 points to 162.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL: 2040 ), which fell 5.29% or 1.60 points to trade at 28.65 at the close. Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL: 2290 ) declined 4.21% or 1.55 points to end at 35.25 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL: 2250 ) was down 3.33% or 0.60 points to 17.42.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 138 and 33 ended unchanged.

Shares in Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL: 2290 ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 4.21% or 1.55 to 35.25.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.29% or 0.20 to $68.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.32% or 0.23 to hit $72.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 8.24 to trade at $2,927.04 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 3.93, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 106.49.
