Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.19%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials , Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC: SCA ), which rose 1.46% or 1,020.00 points to trade at 71,020.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Promigas (BVC: PMG ) added 1.30% or 90.00 points to end at 7,000.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) was up 1.09% or 480.00 points to 44,380.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: CNE ), which fell 2.80% or 320.00 points to trade at 11,100.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC: CFV ) declined 2.44% or 480.00 points to end at 19,220.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC: NCH ) was down 1.60% or 1,840.00 points to 113,000.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: SIS ) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.09% or 480.00 to 44,380.00.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.12% or 4.20 to $371.70 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 4.42% or 389.00 to hit $9,194.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 14.79 to trade at $2,933.59 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.54% to 4,104.83, while BRL/COP fell 1.66% to 706.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 106.47.
