Finland stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.67%
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nordea Bank Abp (HE: NDAFI ), which rose 0.48% or 0.06 points to trade at 12.67 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE: MANTA ) added 0.29% or 0.02 points to end at 5.45 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ) was up 0.24% or 0.03 points to 10.39 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kalmar Oyj (HE: KALMAR ), which fell 3.69% or 1.32 points to trade at 34.31 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE: METSO ) declined 2.43% or 0.26 points to end at 10.63 and Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ) was down 1.93% or 0.17 points to 8.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 110 to 61 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.93% or 0.17 to 8.62.
Brent oil for May delivery was down 1.07% or 0.79 to $72.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.84% or 0.59 to hit $69.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 35.99 to trade at $2,859.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.18% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 107.29.
