Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.26%

Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.26%.

The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL: FRO ), which rose 4.62% or 8.00 points to trade at 181.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: NAS ) added 2.28% or 0.26 points to end at 11.46 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL: KOG ) was up 1.49% or 20.00 points to 1,365.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL: NEL ), which fell 7.39% or 0.18 points to trade at 2.23 at the close. Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL: NOD ) declined 4.38% or 6.30 points to end at 137.45 and Subsea 7 SA (OL: SUBC ) was down 3.20% or 5.70 points to 172.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 164 to 114 and 24 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.70% or 0.49 to $69.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.83% or 0.61 to hit $72.96 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.17% or 33.91 to trade at $2,861.99 a troy ounce.

EUR/NOK was up 0.09% to 11.69, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.00% to 11.24.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 107.29.
