Italy stocks lower at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 down 0.39%
Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology , Industrials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Banco Bpm SpA (BIT: BAMI ), which rose 1.45% or 0.15 points to trade at 10.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Inwit (BIT: INWT ) added 1.11% or 0.11 points to end at 9.52 and Telecom Italia (BIT: TLIT ) was unchanged 1.08% or 0.00 points to 0.29 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nexi SpA (BIT: NEXII ), which fell 4.88% or 0.27 points to trade at 5.19 at the close. Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ) declined 3.27% or 1.55 points to end at 45.89 and Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT: CPRI ) was down 2.81% or 0.17 points to 5.81.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 303 to 213 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.32% or 0.22 to $68.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.19% or 0.14 to hit $72.14 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.71% or 21.54 to trade at $3,022.26 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 103.80.
