Founder and current Chairman of Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR ), Thomas Peterffy, recently disclosed a 23,045,352 share stake in Newsmax (NMAX), indirectly owned via Conyers Investments LLC.

With the stock of the conservative news network extending its 2,200%+ gain in the after-hours on Tuesday, currently trading around $270 per share, Peterffy’s stake is worth over $6.2 billion, on paper.

Thomas Peterffy is the second largest shareholders of the company.

Newsmax opened for trading on Monday, March 31st, after pricing its $75M IPO at $10 per share.
