Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.53%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.53%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ), which rose 8.70% or 84.00 points to trade at 1,050.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE: NVMI ) added 4.51% or 2,990.00 points to end at 69,330.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE: NWMDp ) was up 4.51% or 57.00 points to 1,322.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE: TEVA ), which fell 1.15% or 65.00 points to trade at 5,600.00 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE: BEZQ ) declined 0.93% or 5.00 points to end at 535.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE: ICL ) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 2,121.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 292 to 166 and 80 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.37% or 0.26 to $71.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $74.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 19.06 to trade at $3,165.06 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS rose 0.81% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 103.44.
