Morocco stocks lower at close of trade; Moroccan All Shares down 2.36%
Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Transport , Telecoms and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 2.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Realis. Mecaniques (CSE: SRM ), which rose 9.52% or 40.00 points to trade at 460.00 at the close. Meanwhile, S2M (CSE: S2M ) added 5.98% or 28.15 points to end at 498.90 and Disway SA (CSE: DWY ) was up 1.47% or 11.50 points to 791.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delta Holding S.A (CSE: DHO ), which fell 9.99% or 8.99 points to trade at 81.01 at the close. CTM (CSE: CTM ) declined 9.99% or 99.50 points to end at 896.00 and Jet Contractors (CSE: JET ) was down 7.58% or 179.00 points to 2,181.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 52 to 7 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in S2M (CSE: S2M ) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.98% or 28.15 to 498.90.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 6.90% or 4.95 to $66.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 6.51% or 4.88 to hit $70.07 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.13% or 35.70 to trade at $3,130.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 1.22% to 10.51, while USD/MAD fell 0.78% to 9.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.79% at 101.64.
