Spain stocks lower at close of trade; IBEX 35 down 1.02%
Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financial Services & Real Estate , Building & Construction and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 declined 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME: SLRS ), which rose 5.38% or 0.37 points to trade at 7.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Cellnex Telecom SA (BME: CLNX ) added 5.22% or 1.75 points to end at 35.25 and Indra A (BME: IDR ) was up 4.43% or 1.20 points to 28.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ArcelorMittal SA (BME: MTS ), which fell 7.06% or 1.88 points to trade at 24.76 at the close. Acerinox (BME: ACX ) declined 6.38% or 0.70 points to end at 10.28 and International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (BME: ICAG ) was down 5.99% or 0.19 points to 2.93.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 129 to 69 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indra A (BME: IDR ) rose to all time highs; rising 4.43% or 1.20 to 28.30.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.18% or 37.41 to $3,128.79 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 7.01% or 5.03 to hit $66.68 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 6.59% or 4.94 to trade at $70.01 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 1.75% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP rose 1.03% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.80% at 101.63.
