Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Sports , Telecoms and Banking sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Isiklar Enerji ve Yapi Holding AS (IS: IEYHO ), which rose 9.99% or 0.89 points to trade at 9.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS: CLEBI ) added 6.60% or 192.50 points to end at 3,107.50 and Grainturk Holding AS (IS: GRTHO ) was up 6.43% or 22.50 points to 372.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tekfen Holding AS (IS: TKFEN ), which fell 7.11% or 9.60 points to trade at 125.40 at the close. Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS Class D (IS: KRDMD ) declined 3.67% or 1.08 points to end at 28.32 and Altinay Savunma Teknolojileri AS (IS: ALTNY ) was down 3.53% or 3.15 points to 86.15.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 297 to 279 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS: CLEBI ) rose to all time highs; rising 6.60% or 192.50 to 3,107.50.

Gold Futures for June delivery was down 1.11% or 35.16 to $3,131.04 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 7.43% or 5.33 to hit $66.38 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract fell 6.84% or 5.13 to trade at $69.82 a barrel.

USD/TRY was up 0.09% to 37.95, while EUR/TRY rose 2.21% to 42.07.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.84% at 101.59.
