Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.62%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Technology and Biomed sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE: BEZQ ), which rose 2.80% or 15.00 points to trade at 550.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE: SKBN ) added 2.10% or 22.00 points to end at 1,072.00 and Melisron (TASE: MLSR ) was up 1.61% or 480.00 points to 30,310.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ), which fell 7.04% or 1,540.00 points to trade at 20,350.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE: TSEM ) declined 6.04% or 820.00 points to end at 12,750.00 and Nova (TASE: NVMI ) was down 4.88% or 3,380.00 points to 65,950.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 317 to 126 and 95 ended unchanged.

Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE: CAMT ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 7.04% or 1,540.00 to 20,350.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 7.80% or 5.59 to $66.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 7.12% or 5.34 to hit $69.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 12.41 to trade at $3,153.79 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.19% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS rose 2.24% to 4.12.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 2.30% at 101.11.
