Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.18%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance , Transport and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fitaihi Holding Group (TADAWUL: 4180 ), which rose 9.65% or 0.39 points to trade at 4.43 at the close. Meanwhile, Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL: 2240 ) added 6.57% or 2.15 points to end at 34.85 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL: 7030 ) was up 4.97% or 0.56 points to 11.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL: 6040 ), which fell 8.58% or 1.16 points to trade at 12.36 at the close. Arabian Company for Agricultural and Industrial Investment SCJSC (TADAWUL: 2287 ) declined 7.59% or 4.40 points to end at 53.60 and Raydan Co (TADAWUL: 6012 ) was down 7.44% or 1.54 points to 19.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 254 to 90 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL: 6040 ) fell to 3-years lows; losing 8.58% or 1.16 to 12.36. Shares in Arabian Company for Agricultural and Industrial Investment SCJSC (TADAWUL: 2287 ) fell to all time lows; down 7.59% or 4.40 to 53.60. Shares in Raydan Co (TADAWUL: 6012 ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 7.44% or 1.54 to 19.16.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 7.15% or 5.13 to $66.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 6.54% or 4.90 to hit $70.05 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.26% or 71.71 to trade at $3,094.49 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 2.07% to 4.16, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 2.14% at 101.28.
