Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.13%
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials , Consumer Goods and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST: SINCH ), which rose 4.09% or 0.75 points to trade at 18.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: SBBb ) added 2.68% or 0.10 points to end at 3.64 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST: SHBa ) was up 2.17% or 2.30 points to 108.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ), which fell 9.65% or 9.00 points to trade at 84.70 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST: ELUXb ) declined 1.27% or 0.90 points to end at 66.80 and Sandvik AB (ST: SAND ) was down 1.22% or 2.25 points to 182.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 439 to 332 and 52 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: HEXAb ) fell to 3-years lows; falling 9.65% or 9.00 to 84.70.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.03% or 0.62 to $60.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.96% or 0.61 to hit $63.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.60% or 82.50 to trade at $3,260.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.88% to 11.11, while USD/SEK fell 0.18% to 9.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 99.89.
