Italy stocks higher at close of trade; Investing.com Italy 40 up 2.49%
Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 2.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Stellantis NV (BIT: STLAM ), which rose 6.46% or 0.51 points to trade at 8.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Leonardo SpA (BIT: LDOF ) added 5.16% or 2.28 points to end at 46.50 and Banco Bpm SpA (BIT: BAMI ) was up 3.60% or 0.32 points to 9.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amplifon (BIT: AMPF ), which fell 4.61% or 0.81 points to trade at 16.75 at the close. Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT: CPRI ) declined 1.60% or 0.09 points to end at 5.55 and Moncler SpA (BIT: MONC ) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 54.72.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 365 to 145 and 46 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amplifon (BIT: AMPF ) fell to 5-year lows; losing 4.61% or 0.81 to 16.75.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.70% or 0.43 to $61.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.72% or 0.47 to hit $64.41 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 12.00 to trade at $3,238.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.62% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP fell 0.86% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 99.88.
