Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials , Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.45%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE: WRT1V ), which rose 3.17% or 0.49 points to trade at 15.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE: KESKOB ) added 2.50% or 0.48 points to end at 19.67 and Konecranes ABP (HE: KCRA ) was up 2.26% or 1.20 points to 54.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ), which fell 2.73% or 0.20 points to trade at 7.28 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ) declined 0.42% or 0.03 points to end at 7.65 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE: OUT1V ) was 0.06% or 0.00 points to 3.16.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 116 to 57 and 14 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for June delivery was down 0.83% or 0.54 to $64.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.83% or 0.51 to hit $61.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 11.61 to trade at $3,237.91 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was down 0.55% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP fell 0.80% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 99.84.
