Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.98%
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods , Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE: CARLb ), which rose 3.61% or 31.20 points to trade at 896.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE: ORSTED ) added 0.56% or 1.60 points to end at 286.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE: MAERSKa ) was up 0.47% or 50.00 points to 10,680.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ZELA ), which fell 4.61% or 20.50 points to trade at 424.50 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE: PNDORA ) declined 3.52% or 33.60 points to end at 921.20 and Ambu A/S (CSE: AMBUb ) was down 2.97% or 3.50 points to 114.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.15% or 1.32 to $62.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.96% or 1.27 to hit $65.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.81% or 91.00 to trade at $3,331.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.65% to 6.57, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.07% to 7.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 99.36.
