Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.90%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials , Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.90%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Centratama Telekomunikasi Ind (JK: CENT ), which rose 34.85% or 23.00 points to trade at 89.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Krida Jaringan Nusantara Tbk PT (JK: KJEN ) added 34.15% or 28.00 points to end at 110.00 and Global Sukses Digital Tbk PT (JK: DOSS ) was up 32.20% or 38.00 points to 156.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Modern Internasional Tbk (JK: MDRN ), which fell 12.50% or 1.00 points to trade at 7.00 at the close. Diamond Citra Propertindo PT (JK: DADA ) declined 12.50% or 1.00 points to end at 7.00 and Era Mandiri Cemerlang Tbk PT (JK: IKAN ) was down 10.00% or 13.00 points to 117.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 356 to 262 and 223 ended unchanged.

Shares in Centratama Telekomunikasi Ind (JK: CENT ) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.85% or 23.00 to 89.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.51% or 0.31 to $61.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.54% or 0.35 to hit $65.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.24% or 72.45 to trade at $3,312.85 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.25% to 16,828.80, while AUD/IDR rose 0.50% to 10,725.91.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.62% at 99.35.
