Russia stocks higher at close of trade; MOEX Russia Index up 0.26%
Investing.com – Russia stocks were higher after the close on Saturday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Power and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index added 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia Index were Bank VTB PJSC (MCX: VTBR ), which rose 0.02% or 0.02 points to trade at 83.30 at the close. Meanwhile, GDR ROS AGRO PLC ORD SHS (MCX: AGRODR ) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 1,083.80 and TATNEFT n.a. V.D. Shashin (MCX: TATN ) was down 0.09% or 0.60 points to 693.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Magnitogorskiy Metallurgicheskiy Kombinat PAO (MCX: MAGN ), which fell 3.85% or 1.30 points to trade at 32.49 at the close. Severstal PJSC (MCX: CHMF ) declined 3.73% or 39.60 points to end at 1,022.40 and AK ALROSA PJSC (MCX: ALRS ) was down 3.69% or 1.93 points to 50.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

The Russian Volatility Index – RVI , which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was unchanged 0.00% to 51.60.
Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.15% or 5.10 to $3,341.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 3.54% or 2.21 to hit $64.68 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 3.20% or 2.11 to trade at $67.96 a barrel.
USD/RUB was down 0.09% to 82.10, while EUR/RUB rose 0.16% to 93.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 99.13.
