Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 0.51%
Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media , Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL: TGS ), which rose 4.45% or 3.35 points to trade at 78.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Hafnia Ltd (OL: HAFNI ) added 3.13% or 1.35 points to end at 44.47 and Storebrand ASA (OL: STB ) was up 1.77% or 2.10 points to 120.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: HAUTO ), which fell 5.57% or 4.19 points to trade at 71.07 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL: TOM ) declined 3.79% or 5.70 points to end at 144.80 and Nel ASA (OL: NEL ) was down 3.68% or 0.08 points to 2.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 142 to 124 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.41% or 0.88 to $63.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.10% or 0.73 to hit $66.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 17.54 to trade at $3,442.84 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.38% to 11.87, while USD/NOK fell 0.08% to 10.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 98.29.
