Finland stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 up 0.80%
Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Utilities and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE: NESTE ), which rose 10.34% or 0.82 points to trade at 8.77 at the close. Meanwhile, Fortum Oyj (HE: FORTUM ) added 7.41% or 1.00 points to end at 14.57 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: STERV ) was up 2.20% or 0.18 points to 8.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE: KESKOB ), which fell 2.14% or 0.44 points to trade at 20.12 at the close. TietoEVRY Corp (HE: TIETO ) declined 2.12% or 0.34 points to end at 15.72 and Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ) was down 1.66% or 0.95 points to 56.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 86 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Qt Group Oyj (HE: QTCOM ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.66% or 0.95 to 56.30.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 2.10% or 1.36 to $63.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 2.19% or 1.36 to hit $60.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 24.41 to trade at $3,323.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 98.97.
